My Fly6[v] won't turn on
To turn on your Fly device, press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second. If for any reason your Fly6[v] will not turn on, please try the following:
- Ensure your Fly6[v] is fully charged
- Check your SD card
- SD card should be a Class 10 microSD card
- Check the list of recommended SD cards here, cycliq.com/sdcards
- Reformat your SD card using the instructions here
- Make sure the firmware is up to date. Instructions can be found here

My Fly6[v] is turning off unexpectedly
Your Fly device may turn off in certain situations when Idle Mode and Incident Protection Mode are triggered. If for any reason your Fly6[v] is turning off unexpectedly, please try the following:
- Check your SD card
- SD card should be a Class 10 microSD card
- Check the list of recommended SD cards at cycliq.com/sdcards
- Ensure your Fly6[v] is fully charged
- Reformat your SD card using the instructions here
- Make sure the firmware is up to date. Instructions can be found here
If your Fly6[v] is still turning off mid-ride, please submit a ticket with our support team here.
My Fly6[v] is not turning off
To turn your Fly device off, press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second. If for any reason your Fly6[v] does not turn off, please try the following:
- Press the power button for at least 8 seconds.
- If the unit does not respond, set it aside in a cool dry place and let the battery run down.
To ensure this does not happen again
- Check your SD card
- SD card should be a Class 10 microSD card
- Check the list of recommended SD cards at cycliq.com/sdcards
- Reformat your SD card using the instructions here
- Give your Fly6[v] a full charge
- Make sure the firmware is up to date. Instructions can be found here
